The Stanza Project Launch

We launched our 6th book, The Stanza Project on June 29, 2013 at the Brickhouse. Our collaborator, architect Mark Proosten, flew in from his home in The Netherlands to celebrate with the people he has been working with throughout the year. It was a warm reunion and very exciting for us all. Thanks to all who attended – it was a full house!

We heard a slate of readers working in all genres – poetry, memoir, fiction – and even some sound poetry! Thanks to Anne Young for catering the event with donations from Choices and local markets and a big thank you to the Brickhouse for hosting us again.

Doris Cheung designed the book with architectural features that support the ethos of the project. Although this was her second book project, her experience as a designer made it easy to collaborate across 4500kms with Elee and Mark.
